My Life in Dialogue begins with the author's spiritual journey to interreligious dialogue. Advising the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue (PCID), he writes about dialogues under Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis. He also discusses conversations with Muslims in Central Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia after 9/11.

Author Biography

Donald W. Mitchell is professor emeritus of comparative religions, spirituality, and interreligious dialogue at Purdue University. He is now a permanent visiting professor of spirituality and dialogue at Sophia University Institute, Florence, Italy. He is also the founding editor of Claritas: Journal of Dialogue and Culture.
